"I started following Justin and Rachel's photography journey very early on way back before they were Elevation Boudoir. While navigating a tumultuous relationship and home life, I watched person after person brag about the experience they had with Justin and Rachel and I sat on the sideline green with envy that I couldn't do it.
I was a breastfeeding mom and I did not have the confidence or at-home support to book my first session. After my marriage ended and my breastfeeding journey came to an end, I knew I had to do something for myself and a 1-hour trip to the nail salon was not it. I needed to make a decision for myself and mark something off my bucket list.
Around the same time, I saw Elevation promoting a model call and I knew it was time. Despite my nerves, I submitted my application and told myself no matter what happened, I would book a session. To my surprise, my application was accepted and I quickly booked my appointment. I was so concerned about how I would afford it to start, but I quickly realized there were so many options and this was not only possible, but it was happening. I took off work the day of my session and basically ran to the studio. I was so excited.
The nerves I thought I would feel were nowhere in sight. To be honest, I was elated. I felt a weight leave me when I saw the first test shot. Time flew by and before I knew it I was skipping back to my car with an amount of confidence I have never experienced. Elevation gave a piece of me back that I had not realized I was missing and I relive that feeling every time I look at my prints. "
