We asked Julie about her session and why she choose to book a boudoir session:
"Why? Well I’ve always struggled with the way I’ve looked no matter what size I was. I was diagnosed with a disease that required me to take medication and I gained a significant amount of weight. Over the last year I have lost 70lbs. I still pictured myself bigger and struggled very much with the way I looked. Never thinking I was good enough. I decided to do the boudoir shoot to help me get a better picture of myself."
We also asked her why she chose us:
"Why Elevation? After looking at a few different options I came to the conclusion that Elevation fit my style and what I was looking for. I love the dark shadow look of the pictures and I knew then I wanted them to do my pictures."
For her session specifically, she said this:
"I showed up pretty excited but nervous at the same time. I never really like the way I look in any photos so I knew this was something I would have to over come.
Rachel did an amazing job on my hair and make up. Justin and Rachel made me feel so comfortable and made sure every pose would look amazing. I left there that day feeling amazing! A few days later it was time to go see my pictures. I was so shocked how many I absolutely loved. This was never the case for me. But, for once I loved so many images of myself. To this day I’m still obsessed with all my images and I can’t wait to do another session."
